I don't know, I thought it was just me...or actually, my son. He'd ask me to make a turkey on the day after Thanksgiving, after coming home from a feast with friends or family elsewhere. I'd make a turkey with the trimmings, stuffing, mashed potatoes, tons of gravy, pumpkin pie and the ever mysterious cranberry sauce, and we'd have the sandwiches and soups that are turkeyfied, and as much a part of the holiday as the holiday itself. So imagine my amazement when I recieve not one, but two invites to post thanksgiving feasts, one on Friday, and one on Sunday. Linda, my cousin, said her dad had asked her to cook at least some turkey breast, so that he had a post thanksgiving thanksgiving, and my friend Ethel said that her husband was going to cook a turkey on Friday, and that they were inviting all the friends who had spent an obligatory Thanksgiving with their families. This is turning into a turkey marathon holiday..gaining in importance, and becoming like, Kwaanza, a long and winding celebration..I for one dig the concept..cause I do like stuffing, and cranberries, and really don't get to have them often enough
